Starting point: Halden Parking Lot Sonnenlift

End point: Halden Parking Lot Sonnenlift

The hike starts at the Halden parking lot (Sonnenlift). From here, the path leads through the species-rich mountain meadows on the slopes of Edelsberg. The route is 4.2 km long and takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes to complete, with a total elevation gain of 91 meters. This hike is ideal for nature lovers who want to experience the beauty of alpine flora and fauna.

As you walk along the path, you have repeated opportunities to enjoy the beautiful views of the Pfronten Valley. The colorful flowers and diverse vegetation make this hike particularly appealing.

On the way, you will pass a small, freely accessible hay museum (renovation 2024/25). This small exhibition offers interesting insights into the tradition of hay farming in the region and is a nice place to pause and learn more about the local culture.

Afterwards, the hiking trail runs back through the valley to the starting point.
