What connects an Irish sailor with a mountain farmer? Or a park ranger in the American prairie with an Allgäu hut keeper? The Oberallgäu folk duo Blanz & Hecking provides the musical answer. Their love for Irish music brought them together and connects them to this day. With acoustic guitars and banjos, they create a sound that evokes both the prairie and expanse, while also expressing a strong rootedness in their alpine homeland.
